About Us – The Heart Behind Wild Angels
Wild Angels was born from a lifetime of love — the kind of love only a dog can teach you.
For nearly 35 years, our home has been filled with paws, personalities, and unforgettable stories. It all began in 1991, when Bonzo the Pup came trotting into our lives. He was our first dog, a gift from my wife, and he stayed by our side for 16 and a half beautiful years. Bonzo survived kidney failure once through sheer determination, a healing diet, and endless care. He taught us what resilience looks like.
A couple of years later came Ozzy Bear — gentle, loyal, and full of heart — and soon after, his sister in spirit, Misty Rain. They were inseparable from the moment they met. Ozzy fought bravely against jaw cancer until we said goodbye on October 30, 2019. Misty felt his loss deeply, and her own health struggles began soon after. What followed was a journey of misdiagnoses, emergency surgeries, and a fight we refused to give up on. When one vet said there was no hope, Virginia Tech proved otherwise. Misty battled pancreatitis, then later liver cancer — and beat it. She ran again, played again, lived again. Even when her heart finally gave out in 2024, she left this world as a warrior.
The Birth of the CEO’s
Later in 2024, we saw a photo of a tiny fluff named Emmi Rose and drove all the way to Buffalo, NY to bring her home. Months later, we returned for a brother — and somehow came back with two: Tater Tot and Merlin Boy. True siblings, true chaos, true joy. From 6:30 in the morning until bedtime (and sometimes 3 a.m.), our home is alive with zoomies, mischief, and love.
Across all six dogs — Bonzo, Ozzy, Misty, Emmi, Tater, and Merlin — one truth has never changed:

We’ve tried every toy, leash, harness, collar, treat, and gadget imaginable. We’ve learned what works, what doesn’t, and what truly makes a dog’s life better. Wild Angels is our way of sharing that knowledge — and honoring the angels who taught us everything.

But underneath that wild streak is a heart of gold, always ready to charm his way out of trouble with a grin that says, “You weren’t really mad at me.”

Emmi Rose is pure sugar… delivered at full speed. She’s the sweetheart who melts into cuddles, gives kisses like it’s her life’s calling, and follows her humans with total devotion. But hand her a toy or open up some playtime, and suddenly she’s a tiny bull in a china shop — enthusiastic, unstoppable, and joyfully unaware of her own power. She’s the perfect blend of gentle affection and playful chaos, and she makes every moment feel fuller.
Merlin Boy
The Earnest Philosopher
(and Retired Chef)
Merlin Boy carries an old soul in a fluffy body. He’s the thinker, the observer, the dog who seems to be contemplating the mysteries of the universe while everyone else is chasing squeaky toys. His affection is precious because you have to earn it — a kiss from Merlin is a badge of honor. And with the way he inspects food, savors flavors, and judges snacks like a Michelin critic, it’s clear he was a chef in a past life. Wise, discerning, and deeply loyal, he’s the quiet heartbeat of the pack.
